Terms of Use
Last Updated: February 2025 These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MetEngine platform, including the web terminal at app.metengine.xyz, the Seeker mobile application, and the MetEngine Telegram Bot (@met_engine_bot) (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information about your legal rights, remedies, and obligations.1. Definitions
- “MetEngine,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to MetEngine and its affiliates, operators, and service providers.
- “Platform” refers to the MetEngine web terminal, Seeker mobile app, Telegram Bot, and all related services.
- “Services” refers to all features and functionality provided through the Platform, including pool discovery, liquidity provision, trading execution, and analytics.
- “User,” “you,” or “your” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform.
- “Wallet” refers to the self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet created through or connected to the Platform.
- “Digital Assets” refers to cryptocurrencies, tokens, and other blockchain-based assets.
- “Smart Contracts” refers to self-executing code deployed on blockchain networks that facilitate transactions.
2. Platform Services
2.1 Web Terminal (app.metengine.xyz)
The MetEngine web terminal provides:- Real-time pool discovery and analytics across Solana DEXes
- Liquidity provision tools and position management
- Trading execution with MEV protection
- Performance tracking and PnL analytics
- Portfolio management features
2.2 Seeker Mobile App
The Seeker mobile application provides the same core functionality as the web terminal, optimized for mobile devices.2.3 Telegram Bot (@met_engine_bot)
The MetEngine Telegram Bot enables:- Liquidity provision through conversational interface
- Position monitoring and notifications
- Quick access to pool analytics
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform.3.2 Jurisdiction Restrictions
The Platform is NOT available to persons or entities located in, incorporated in, or residents of:- United States of America and its territories
- OFAC Sanctioned Countries and Regions:
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine
- Russia
4. Account & Wallet
4.1 Self-Custodial Wallet
MetEngine utilizes Privy for wallet creation and management. Your wallet is self-custodial, meaning:- You own and control your private keys
- MetEngine never has access to your private keys or seed phrases
- MetEngine cannot recover lost keys or access your funds
- You are solely responsible for securing your wallet credentials
4.2 Wallet Security
You are solely responsible for:- Maintaining the confidentiality of your wallet credentials
- All activities that occur through your wallet
- Backing up and securing your private keys
- Any losses resulting from unauthorized access to your wallet
4.3 No Custody
MetEngine does not hold, control, or have custody of your Digital Assets at any time.5. Fees
5.1 Platform Fees
MetEngine charges the following fees:| Fee Type | Amount | Description |

| Swap Fee | 0.5% | Applied to swaps involving non-blue chip token pairs |
5.2 Fee Changes
MetEngine reserves the right to modify fees at any time. Changes will be communicated through the Platform and will apply to transactions occurring after the effective date of such changes.5.3 Network Fees
You are responsible for all blockchain network fees (gas fees) associated with your transactions. These fees are paid to network validators, not to MetEngine.6. User Representations & Warranties
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:6.1 Legal Capacity
- You are of legal age in your jurisdiction
- You have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- You are not acting on behalf of a restricted entity
6.2 Jurisdiction Compliance
- You are not located in a restricted jurisdiction
- You are not subject to any sanctions or regulatory restrictions
- Your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws
6.3 Tax Compliance
- You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes applicable to your transactions
- MetEngine does not provide tax advice
- You will maintain appropriate records for tax purposes
6.4 Lawful Use
- You will not use the Platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any illegal purpose
- You will not engage in market manipulation, wash trading, or fraudulent activities
- You will not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls
- You will not use bots, scripts, or automated tools in ways that violate these Terms
7. Risks & Disclaimers
7.1 DeFi & Blockchain Risks
You acknowledge and accept that:- Blockchain networks and DeFi protocols carry inherent technological risks
- Network congestion may delay or prevent transactions
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
- Protocol upgrades or forks may affect your assets
7.2 Smart Contract Risks
Third-party Smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or exploits that could result in:- Loss of deposited funds
- Unexpected behavior or outcomes
- Permanent loss of access to assets
7.3 Impermanent Loss
Providing liquidity involves impermanent loss risk. The value of your position may decrease relative to holding the underlying assets. MetEngine provides analytics to help you understand this risk, but you are solely responsible for your trading decisions and using the platform.7.4 No Investment Advice
MetEngine does not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. The Platform is a tool for accessing DeFi protocols. All analytics, data, and information are provided for informational purposes only.7.5 No Guarantee of Profits
Past performance does not guarantee future results. There is no guarantee that you will earn profits from using the Platform. You may lose some or all of your deposited assets.7.6 Third-Party Protocols
MetEngine integrates with third-party protocols and DEXes. We are not responsible for:- The performance or availability of these protocols
- Changes to third-party protocol terms or functionality
- Losses resulting from third-party protocol failures or exploits
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 MetEngine IP
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including but not limited to software, designs, logos, trademarks, and content, are owned by or licensed to MetEngine.8.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:- Modify, copy, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Platform
- Use MetEngine branding without prior consent
- Resell or sublicense access to the Platform
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.9.2 Limitation of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METENGINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:- ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR WALLET
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM SMART CONTRACT FAILURES OR EXPLOITS
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS OR PROTOCOLS
9.3 Maximum Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF FEES YOU PAID TO METENGINE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.10. Termination
10.1 By You
You may stop using the Platform at any time. Before doing so, you should withdraw your assets from any open positions.10.2 By MetEngine
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including if:- You violate these Terms
- You are located in a restricted jurisdiction
- We are required to do so by law or regulation
- We discontinue the Platform or any feature
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:- Your license to use the Platform terminates immediately
- You remain responsible for any outstanding obligations
- These Terms continue to apply to any pending transactions
11. Amendments
MetEngine reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for updates.12. Miscellaneous
12.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MetEngine regarding your use of the Platform.12.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.12.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.12.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms. MetEngine may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.13. Contact Information
